This program trains participants in the use of direct pressure, applying a tourniquet and wound packing to care for life-threatening bleeding.
This course teaches participants how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course helps to meet requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
The Head, Neck, Muscle, Bone, Joint, Injuries and Splinting Skill Boost program is designed to help participants recognize and respond to orthopedic injuries. This program provides training in recognizing and
caring for head, neck and spinal injuries and recognizing and caring for muscle, bone and joint injuries, including the need for training in the use of a rigid splint and a sling and binder.
The Asthma and Quick Relief Medication Administration program is designed to help participants recognize and respond to asthmatic breathing emergencies. This program provides training and certification in the use of an inhaler with spacer and includes optional training in the use of a nebulizer.
The Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector Administration Skill program is designed to help participants recognize and respond to anaphylactic emergencies. This program provides training about
anaphylaxis and the use of an epinephrine auto-injector device.
